Mr Lobban has been training in TKDITF FOR 17 years in East Kilbride with Master Hutton. He first started in the clubs Tots programme at 4 years old and progressed through MHF’s Kids programmes then in December 2012 after 8 years of dedicated training, Mr Lobban was Success in his grading to First Degree Black Belt!
since passing his First degree examination, Mr Lobban because a junior assistant instructor at the club helping in our Kubz and Samurai programmes for 3-11 year olds!
As a colour belt and into his Black Belt career Mr Lobban has entered many competitions across the UK becoming National Champion for both patterns and sparing events, In 2015 Mr Lobban broke into ITF Scotland’s national team and represented his country for the very first time at the AETF European championships which where held in Motherwell 2015. Since then Mr Lobban has since competed in a Junior World Championships in Dublin 2017, getting all the way to the quarter finals. As well as his first senior World Championships in Germany in April 2019 again narrowly losing out in the Quarter Finals to the eventual winner, and another European Championships in Bosnia & Herzegovina in October 2019!
outside of his competitive desires, Mr Lobban has since taken on a Full time instructor role at our academy in East Kilbride and is the Chief Instructor for our Kubz & Samurai programmes.
in December 2020 Mr Lobban was put forward for his second degree grading after 8 years as 1st degree and was successfully promoted along with 4 others from the club who were promoted to 1st and 4th degree international instructor respectively!
Mr Lobban wishes to continue his competitive career and represent his club & country at European and World level and bring home these titles to MHF as well as continue to instruct and develop the next generation of Taekwon-Do!
